4 times 2 hour class | a quiet pause between what has been and what's to come. We'll move with attention, breathe with ease and settle body and mind.  Practice is a way to restore rhythm and reconnect to what sustains - steady and grounded for the year ahead 🧡 

The Emotional Stability Sequencewritten by B.K.S. Iyengar, is a beautiful set of fifteen supported asana designed to nurture your emotional well-being. When done regularly, well (and with a little love), this sequence can work wonders!

 

The key is working well! The body needs to know the postures - really know them. Props aren’t there for collapsing into; while they support, they do not replace the physical actions but the effort to make the actionsThe integrity of the asana remains as if the props weren’t there. Every part of the body is alive and engaged, with the props offering a helping hand along the way.

 

It’s not the easiest thing to carve out two hours for quiet, restorative practice on your own. That’s why group practice is such a gift! Coming together in a shared space creates a supportive, encouraging atmosphere. Will you join me?
