Designed for those ready to go further in their Iyengar yoga journey. This 5-week course builds upon foundational work, introducing more complex postures and refined alignment, while staying grounded in clarity and breath.
In our level 1 foundations and developing classes, we'll teach you the shapes of the asanas (physical postures). Begin at the beginning, or refresh your understanding of Iyengar yoga basics. Technique, timing and sequence are the cornerstones of this aligned practice.
On arriving in the shape, the next stage is feeling sensation and feeling your breath and your ease as the various sensations rise and fall. The stretch is there, the opportunity for health benefits no doubt, but more than this is beginning the ultimate relationship - with you!
